My version of Sister Butterfly Card

Update 9-15-11: Gads, I had not realized my posting went a bit crazy.......1st photo has been reloaded and hopefully the format has been "cleaned up"..........so sorry about this.

Sometimes there is no reason to re-invent the wheel. This card is an inspiration from many places........it is especially from a great card maker Eunice She inspired me to use the Happily Ever After Provo Cartridge for the frame from the Mulan section. See her beautiful card posted on 7/4/2011- what a great idea, indeed! And, I just love her inside layout, too which originated from Carol (posted 6/23/11) - ya gotta check Carol's site out for an all day inspirational tour...she is an extreme paper crafter (mildly described). Links to both these gals are on my blog side bar. My goodness, I loved their cards so much, my version is made with different DSP and punched butterflies.

Close-up of the frame:

Kiyomi: using Copic Marckers 110, W5, R20, E21, G4, RV02, R83

(1) 5-1/4" x 3-3/4" DSP from Crate Paper

Apply Tombow adhesive to back of frame. Attach to DSP, then pop with dimensionals to adhere to card front.

After adhering flowers and butterflies, add Stardust Stickles to the flower centers and butterfly body

Punch the grass along the 1-1/4" width using Martha's great punch.

Attach punched grass as shown, secure DSP on top of the "grass extension" as shown. Stamp sentiment (from Dandelion) using Momento Rich Cocoa ink

The acetate is attached to the punched. Then butterflies attached using mini glue dots. Then use mini glue dots to sandwich the grass together.
