A Sewing Themed Birthday Project

I love how these pieces all came together. These are for my friend: Linda, who makes patterns for garments using the computer.  The dress form was previously posted on April 18, 2014 and can be found here.  Added to this grouping is a card and a notebook. The notebook is a pre-made cover - all I had to do is decorate the front cover, add decorative paper to the inside, then add the notepad.  The notebook cover was a random find at my local scrap warehouse so I am not sure where they can be purchased.  I only got my hands on a few of them to decorate.  Does Black and Kraft card stock look great together?
Card: finished size is  5-3/4 x 4-1/2". Decorative paper is from Graphic 45, their Kraft Reflections Collection Bits and Pieces #4500480All pieces are cut using my Silhouette. The SVG cut file is from The Cutting Cafe called the Sewing Machine shaped card found here.  The sewing dial is a computer printed and is a PDF file from the Sewing Machine shaped card set.

Randomly positioned Buttons dies from Papertrey Ink along with embroidery floss wrapped around a card popped with foam squares.  Tie some black tulle around the card front for the final finish.
Card inside: Lots of room to write a note
The envelope is made using We are Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. Left over Decorative paper is from Graphic 45, their Kraft Reflections Collection Bits and Pieces #4500480. Buttons dies from Papertrey Ink
Notebook: finished size is 6" x 4-1/4" x 7/8"
Cover:"Linda's Pattern Notes" is computer generated, then use Prima Pattern Pieces single clear stamp with Momento Lux Black ink on Recollections Kraft card stock paper for that dark dark black effect. Mat with Recollection Black card stock, then pop with foam squares. EK Succes Large Lattice Chain Punch through Recollections Black card Stock. Randomly scatter some Buttons dies from Papertrey Ink
A closer look at the Metal dress form embellishment is Momenta Metal which can be found at Michael's Craft Store.
Here are those button dies which can be layered in so many combinations:
Notebook inside cover:
Stamped message is using Stampin-Up Pattern of Friendship stamp set. Hand held pinking scissors is used for the Kraft and Black card stock.
