Renaissance Marci Birthday Shadow Box Card

Absolutely LOVE this card made by Alexander Morein: her blog Clay Guana  here. I totally CASEed the layout from her blog because it is so fabulous!!!! La-la Land Crafts July 2016 Club Kit - to join, subscribe here.

Paper used is: DCWV The Sweet Stack, Recollections White and Bazzil Pink card stock. Renaissance Marci is from the La-la Land July 2016 Club Kit and only is available if you are a Club member right now - so you should join nowFinished card size 6" x 6", shadowbox card style.  Fortunately, we recently created this card style in the June Two Day La-la Land Crafts 2 Day WorkshopStamp used is Renaissance Marci
LLC dies used: Pierced Scallop Circles, Lattice Border Die, Castle Border Die, Bricks Die, Scroll Banner Die and Spellbinders Large Standard Circles Die

Copic Colors:
Hair: W2, W4, W6, W8
Face: E11, E01, E00, E000, R11, R20, R21
Dress: R89, R85, R83, R81
Dress Bottom, Crown, Hanki: C3, C2, C1, C00, Clear Wink of Stella on Crown
Renaissance Marci is popped with foam squares.  She is sitting on top of a white card stock circle, pink card stock Pierced Scallop Circle, and pink card stock die cut Bricks.
The Scroll Banner is cut three times: twice using white card stock and once again using light weight chipboard for this effect.  Stamped message is included in the stamp set. The adhesive rhinestones in pink add the finished touch.
Bricks die is cut twice: once in white card stock and then in light weight chipboard.  Each side has four section of bricks with a variety of flowers attached on top.
Love this Castle Border die across the bottom cut in white card stock with light weight chipboard behind it. Add the pink adhesive rhinestones to finish it nicely.  The Lattice Border cut in white card stock fits perfectly at the bottom of the card.

Asian Milestone 99th Birthday

How does one celebrate a milestone like 99 years old?  Goodness - a special time to celebrate. Of course a special card needs to be presented.  Box card design by Debbie Pamment - her blog here. This card style was taught at one of the annual La-la Land Retreat sessions. A 3rd strip to hold another image was added. Paper: Recollections Black Card Stock, DCWV The Far East Stack paper. Various basic punches used: EK Success 2" Punch, EK Success 1-3/4" Punch, EK Success 1-1/2" Punch, EK Success 1-1/4" Punch. Back panel top edge, flaps, and top inside strips are using EK Success Loops border Punch. Finished box card size: 6-1/2" x 5-1/2".

A note about those randomly placed golden fire crackers: use scraps of gold card stock about 1" wide x 3" long - adhere a gold cord, then roll up and adhere closed. Also add Gold Stickles on the ends of the cord.
Wiki C.A.P.S. Good Luck Die used on the front panel.  Ellentina Cutting Dies TSD009 used on the second panel.  The year 99 was a Silhouette cut using Black card stock, mat with decorative paper punched, then mat with black card stock, then gold card stock.
Free Font: printed Chow Fun used for the message.  Punch it using EK Success 1-1/4" Circle Punched, then mat it with a 1-1/2" punch in Black card stock, and finally a 1-3/4" Gold card stock circle. Pop with foam squares. Add two golden fire crackers.
Cuttlebug Asia Embossing Folder Set used on the bottom panels.
Side view:
Card Back: Cut a Gold card stock mat on top of a white card stock. Add the Asian character "Shou" which means "long life".  This Asian character was cut using my Silhouette and the character was found on line.

Decorative paper used is 2014 Graphic 45 retired Bird Song Collection. Recollections
Black and Ivory card stock.  Burgundy card stock from Core-dinations.  La-la Land Craft Dies: Lattice Bracket Die used on the front and Cherry Blossom Branch used on the card front and inside panel can be found here.  EK Success Brick Border Punch used on the edge.  Finished card size: 5-1/2 " x 5-1/2".

Work Out Girl Birthday Box Card

Box card design by Debbie Pamment - her blog here. This card style was taught at one of the annual La-la Land Retreat sessions. A 3rd panel to hold the image was added in the inside. This is a late birthday card for a workout gal. Paper is from my stash.  Finished card is 5-1/2" x 6" when flat.
SVG Cutting file:  Chibi Work Out Girl found here. Her hair is cut out in white, then Copic Pens used to color her hair to resemble the work out girl.  Add a little blush to her cheeks! Her top is also cut out in white, then colored using Copic Pens.
Cottage Cutz Gift Tag Topper, EK Success 1" Circle Punch used. EK Success Zig Zag Punch used on the flaps.
Martha Stewart Presents Boarder Punch used for one of the panels. Punch them out in various colors and use whatever color that works. Impression Obsession Cake Die #DIE069-J used on the back panel.
La-la Land Crafts Heart Banner Die, Scallop Banner Die on the back. 
Creative Time Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die added the back above the personalized name cut using the computer font cut using the Silhouette:

Asian Screen Swap

Made this special card for a swap: Finished card 8-3/4" x 10-7/8". There is a 1-3/4" Rust color strip of Washi Paper across front 3-1/2" from top of screen panel. Washi paper  for the front and back used is from Hanko Designs. All their paper can be found here. Paper Shaper Tab Punch used twice to make Asian "feet" at the bottom of the screen.
Back of screen:  6-3/4" x 3" Washi panels in back
Stampin-Up retired Asian stamps used for each panel. Stamped in Black, Gold and Really Rust Inks.  Each stamped panel is 3-1/4" x 3" with a Recollection Rust color card stock mat
Die used for the screen top edge is from Savvy Dies #10005 (savystamps.com) 5/8" edge exposed - die is 1-1/4" wide
Wiki Caps Good Luck die for the character "luck" cut in Rust card stock, 1-1/4" circle punched in Black behind the character sitting on top of Penny Black Creative Dies "geometrics" #51-130 cut in Black card stock

Santa's Sleigh Holiday Card

Irina (owner and Grand Princess Designer) of La-la Land Craft hosted her annual 2 day workshop recently in Milpitas. The workshop had 12 projects.  Dies used for this card can be found here.  All papers used to make this card was supplied and cut at the 2 day workshop. This is the last of the 12 projects from the workshop

Finished card size: 6" X 6".  Card stock used is a combination of Cream and Brushed Gold - elegant and festive!  Lots of matting on this card:
Adhesive pearls on the Hanging Snowflakes:

Santa Sleigh is die cut using light weight chipboard, the Cream card stock is adhered on top.
Three Christmas Trees is die cut using light weight chipboard, the Cream card stock is adhered on top.
Tie a natural twine through the holes in the Ornate Scroll Flourish. Note: the Ornate Scroll Flourish is folded back behind the front panel.

Card inside: "negative" of the die cut hill from the front cover is utilized here.
Dies used: Three Christmas Trees, Santa Sleigh Die, Stitched Nested Circle Die, Hanging Snowflakes Die, Icicles Border Die, Ornate Scroll Flourish Die, Stitched Hill Die, Stitched Nested Circle Die.

Halloween Gable Box

Irina (owner and Grand Princess Designer) of La-la Land Crafts hosted a 2 day workshop recently in Milpitas.  It is a annual event.  The workshop had 12 projects during the 2 day event. Details:
Finished size: 6" x 4" x 9"
Dies used:   Cob Web, Broom, Crows, Bare Branches, Tombstone Die, Stitched Circles, Spider Web Corner

Side view with the large Spider Web: use some Viva Silver Paste to cover the web.
Back side of gable box: Stitched circle inked in Ranger's Wild Honey. Broom has Viva Gold Paste applied. On the Broom top is Viva Green Paste. Small Spider Web corner is die cut in Black card stock, then smeared with a hint of Viva Green Paste.

Steampunck Themed Cards

Irina (owner and Grand Princess Designer) of La-la Land Crafts hosted a 2 day workshop recently in Milpitas.  It is a annual event.  The workshop had 12 projects during the 2 day event.  Stamps and Dies used for these cards can be found here.  All papers used to make this card were supplied from the 2 day workshop. Original design was a 12x12 project which was transformed into four 6x6 cards utilizing most of the elements.

Original 12x12 design:
Transformed into four 6x6 cards: Card base is Recollections Black card stock.
Note: each of these four cards have a layer of printed acetate.  Each 6x6 acetate is a different print. Inner mat on each card starts with a 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" black card stock, 4 layer matted for a really finished look, then popped with foam squares.   All edges are lightly inked with Ranger's Vintage Photo.
The tag under front mat is removable as shown:
Second card is made in the same manner as the first card.  Stamped image Steampunk Marci is Copic  colored with the following colors:
Hair: W2, W4, W6, W8
Face: E11, E00, E01, E000, R20, R21, R11
Hat band, Gloves, Glasses:> E41, E43, E84, E87
Hat, Dress: RV10, R56, R89
Add Glossy Accents to the Glasses
Inner Mat and Steampunk Marci are popped with foam squares, Tag is not removable. 
This third card is simply embellished with the LLC Stitched Oval Borders, lightly inked with Ranger's Vintage Photo.  Add the LLC Flag Banner, LLC Small Notched Flowers and LLC Shabby Flourish. Adhesive rhinestones on the flowers finish embellishing this card. Sentiment can be added later.
Last card is stamped using Shy Marci Copic colors used:
Hair: W2, W4, W6, W8
Skin: E11, E01, E00, E000, R21, R20, R11
Headband, Dress: R89, R56, RV10
